RSPB campaign to attract visitors to local reserves launched |
We worked closely with the team at Eastern England RSPB to design a hyper-local community engagement programme. The purpose of the project is to increase people’s engagement with both wildlife and their local reserve.
Hyper-local is a key element in the project, this campaign is targeted at just two different postcodes with a piece of highly actionable direct mail given to each child in the catchment school of that postcode.
The postcard tells the family exactly how far they are from their local reserve and gives them free entry for the children. The idea is that they visit the reserve, learn about how to create homes for nature and then go home and put some of those things into practice and put the window sticker in the window.
Gradually postcodes will fill up with window stickers and the bug hotels etc in the gardens will start to create green corridors! In essence we want to mobilise people to extend their local reserve into their own garden, school or community space.
